And, finally, the fourth level of security is on-site management/staff, actual human beings who are at the facility twenty-four seven. Nothing discourages a thief or robber more than an alert human being on-ground.
If any of the four levels of security are missing, the storage company really cannot claim to be secure, and it might surprise you to know that many storage facilities do not have all four levels of security. Shortcuts are inevitably taken due to cost, and each shortcut is an invitation to the bad guys to come and help themselves.
